Ryan McKenna, E.I.
Ryan has been involved in geotechnical, environmental, and construction inspection related work for 3+ years. He has a very broad based knowledge of the construction and environmental industry. He has also been involved in construction material testing and inspection on multiple construction projects ranging from multi-story buildings to roadways.
Ryan has also been involved in environmental compliance, remediation, sampling and inspection related to both ground and surface water. In addition, he has experience with groundwater and surface water collection.
Ryan has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida and began his career with GSE in August of 2016.
assistant lab manager
Jason is the assistant lab manager with 10+ years of chemical and structural materials testing. He has a bachelor’s degree in biology.
Jason also worked in the Structural Materials section at the FDOT State Materials Office, testing concrete samples for chloride content and testing structural materials for state approval. He has worked at GSE since April 2017 testing concrete and soils.
Nat has worked as a chemical process operator and laboratory technician in the wood preservation industry for over 6 years and in the masonry products industry for the past 3+ years. She has been a member of GSE's Laboratory for the past year.
Abe has been involved with environmental field testing for 2 years and has a broad knowledge of remediation systems, groundwater sampling, and soil sampling associated with petroleum contamination.
He has become proficient in construction materials testing over the course of a year for concrete strength testing, aggregate base testing, and LBR testing. Abe is also stydying Geology at Santa Fe.
ERIK G. TIMBERLAKE
Erik is a new addition to the field of soil and construction materials testing. Training from the ground up under the experienced technicians at GSE gives him a unique early hands-on approach to the field. Erik is training for his first ACI certifications currently and plans to continue to broaden his knowledge base as he gains experience.
